It is because the heels n high-heeled shoes have a small surface area. That small surface area can get stuck in certain type of floor like mud because the heels will sink in the mud. You would need flat shoes that have a large surface area to go on floors that are not capable of hold shoes like high-heels.
Yes
The original shoes "clicked"... on some floors.. because of the letter"O" .. which caused a slight suction on the floor. The molds were soon changed so that there were breaks in the "O"... so... no more cute "kissing the floor".... check it out ....
You would slide across the floor in socks, not shoes.

If it is on hard wood floor spit on the floor and rub your shoes in it to get a grip on the floor.
it is correct if you mean it as too many/a lot of shoes on the floor. any other way would be incorrect
Yes you can, as long as you stay off the floors that are being coated. It takes around 2 hours for water borne finishes to dry. Then ask your floor guy if you can walk on it with socks. NO shoes because rocks or other things stuck in the soles will scratch the soft finish.
Wood.
Shoes make footstep noises because you walk on hardwood floors that make noise, if you take off your shoes, then there will be no noise, wear a sock to prevent noise.
