Depends on the state in which the permit will be gotten and the circumstances surrounding the permit. Some states will allow a 13 year old to get their license if they are the only physically capable person at their place of residence, if they can prove themselves mature enough, AND if they can pass all standard qualifying tests (written & practical, usually).
By & large, if the older sibling is 18+, it has a good chance of being a "yes."
So post your state & I'll see what I can find. That, or you could Google it yourself (which is what I was going to do). Try Keywords like "DMV" or "(state name) driver license" or "(state name) DOT" or visit your state's official webpage (probably a *.gov address).
As far as I know, all drivers that live in your home must be listed on your insurance policy. Although i don't think you have to list someone with a permit. If the older sibling is at least 18, they may take the younger sibling for a lesson without have them listed on their insurance.
yes you have to take a drivers ed class to get a permit and then succeed in the class and then you get the permit you don't have to if you don't take drivers ed when you're 18yrs old you can get you're license
They with a legal adult must go to the Department of Transportation. DOT They will have to take a written test and pass in order to get a Drivers Permit.
North Carolina requires that all drivers under the age of 18 take a local driver education course either through the public school system, if offered, or through an available commercial driving school. Teen drivers may apply for a permit at the age of 16, with the approval of a parent or legal guardian.
Yes because when your in maryland, maryland has a differnt permit and they have a differnt permit.
Yes as long as she has her drivers license.
you have to do drivers ed before you take the permit test at dmv. i started the course at 15 but you have to be 15 1/2 to take the permit test.
You always need to obtain a drivers permit--regardless of age. You take the written test for the permit, go and get some hours behind the wheel with another driver, and then take the actual driving test for the license.
drivers ed is a class u take before getting your permit. You must pass all the segments to earn the permit, drivers ed has a few written exams and then you get behind the wheel. You must have a permit to get your license at the age of 16.

No matter how long a person has had a permit. You have to take a driving course test to get a license.
Depends on what state, try checking your local dol/dmv . but... if you enroll in drivers ed you can get your permit within 10 days of the first class , or you can get it before drivers ed but you have to take a written test.
