First of all, the cr-v does not have a viscous coupling it is a dual pump system.. (this is a very good description http://corporate.Honda.com/press/article.aspx?id=20010220001295)
The transmission itself can be used in a FWD setup with the drive shaft removed, however it will be less efficient than a transmission designed for fwd because there are more moving parts inside the casing... also you cannot add a limited slip differential to the cr-v's transmission, because the limited slips made for integra transmissions sit right where the output for the rear propeller shaft is in the casing.
The rear abs sensor is on the top centre of the differential. There is a small bolt that holds it in.
All Range Rovers are full time 4x4 and have a locking centre diff, in a 1995 Range Rover the centre diff is a viscous coupling and locks automatically if it is functioning correctly. Katie
It is bad to drive it with anything crucial to the car damaged. so yes.
