This is not legal advice. For legal advice pertinent to your situation please consult with a qualified attorney in your area.
There is no easy answer. You should consult an attorney. You will need one unless you are able to work out an arrangement with the other parent.
In WI, the custodial parent has an obligation to notify the non-custodial parent and the court by letter of the intent to move the child to another state (or more than 150 miles) within 60 days of the intended move. The Non-custodial parent has a right to object and must also file with the court to do so.
If the parties cannot work out an agreement, the court will find one based on the child's best interests, and modify the placement schedule accordingly.
