Yes. Most likely of corse.
Most small parrots, like lovebirds, like millet because it is easy and quick to eat. If it is still attached to the stem in a spray, it is also fun for them to pick apart as they eat. For a small parrot, eating millet on a spray is kind of like those toys for kids that dispense candy.
FINCHES will eat a type of seed called WILD FINCH BLEND wich can be bought at any pet store, target or walmart. FINCHES can also eat spray millet, parakeet mix, finch mix, Japanese millet, green spray millet , and game bird crumbles.
They love millet spray and my lovebirds really like safflower seeds. I mix safflower seeds with a parrot seed mix.
millet spray is a sprig of millet seed, its how it grows, you can't cook one. Most bird seed mix has millet. As long as you feed your bird a varied diet it can live without millet spray. Millet spray is high in fat and should be used only as an occasional treat.
Yes, among other things. They will regurgitate everything when feeding. You should keep her diet complete, millet should really be more of a treat.
My cat eats millet. Is it good for him
Millet is very high fat and to be used as a treat only. Most likely if you only feed spray millet your budgie will develop tumors in 2-3 years.
Of couse deedeede
Don't worry my budgie has done this since he was young and he is 6 now. I can put a millet spray right up to his beak and he wont touch it, but if i put my finger anywhere near him he bites it. I just tie the millet to the side of the cage and he eats it then. Xo Xo
