It's likely the father will take the child. Being lesbian is irrelevant. being single and lesbian doesnt make you UNSTABLE... as remarried doesnt make you STABLE!...
It will depend on many factors. Consult a lawyer. If you are worried the judge will move the child from you and give full custody to the father only based on him getting remarried, that is not how it works.
Not on your own. Unless otherwise declared by the court, a legal father has as much right to the child as the legal mother. Interfering with his custody could be criminal. If you believe he is unstable, you should file a petition with the appropriate court to have his custody/visitation rights suspended or removed.
The mother, unless proven to be unfit or incpable of caring for the children, and regardless of her marital status, invariably gets custody after a divorce.
Can, but the father can challenge it in probate.
This is an issue that is not specifically addressed in custody laws, so it needs to be addressed in a modified custody order. See link for addressing other issues.
Yes, she can. If the father doesn't like it, he can petition the court to modify the custody agreement.
It's likely, but I don't think that you could legally demand custody. You could work out some arrangements with the custodial step father and the biological father concerning visits and vacations, but you will still need a court order that gives you custody.
This is a problematic area and cannot be clearly answered in that Juries can be used in Texas to decide custody. It's the only states that does.
yes once your 16 or older you can make your own choice but you have to confirm it with the court first
yes there is. if your mother remarried and then remarried again it would be considered your second step father.
Beyonce's father has not yet remarried.
Yes. In custody court it can be established that the mother is unable to properly and safely care for the children due to her unstable psychiatric history. Supervised visits with the mother may also be court ordered.
