I have seen a snake come out of my own toilet. Spiders come up out of the bath tub drain all of the time. I live in the woods. You can expect the unexpected when you live in a forest.

∙ 13y agoMany sewers are combined systems storm /sanitary and many lax codes to not allow the use of a building house trap.
Thus a snake or rodent or pest can enter the drainage system and then enter the building thought a fixture or floor drain

∙ 7y agoDepends on the size of the drain holes and how big the snake is. They can squeeze into pretty tight holes, but most of them don't especially like wet ones like Plumbing pipes.

I bought a drain cleaning snake a few years ago because it was needed to retrieve excessive hair that got stuck and started to clog the drain. I got mine at a hardware store.
