Solipsist is a person/entity who believes that the whole universe exists within his/her/its imagination. Nothing else is real or even exists.

Redaction is the act of combining several texts into one. For example, many books in the christian Bible were assembled from previous works and edited together as an assemblage of the previous work. Typically there is a redactional purpose in compiling this derivative work which encourages the redactor to leave out, or de-emphasize parts of the original works that conflict with the redactional purpose. It is important to understand the bias of the redactor.

If for example the redactor is a 44 year old Canadian woman, her compilation of multiple works will probably de-emphasize elements critical of older women, critical of Canada.

Since a Solipsist believes all previous works were authored by itself, there are no independent works to combine, so a Solipsist cannot truly redact.
