Answer: Depends if its a VW or a Ford. Vehicle undercarriages can be washed. External components are covered to keep mud and moisture away from electrical connections and wiring. The fuses are also covered from outside elements.
Had the same problem but intermittent. Laying under the car, looking up follow the wires from the rear02 sensor to a plug. You should wires in that area that have been rubbing to ground as there is some movement allowed.
I also have this problem. The fuse is in the fuse box under the hood. For sum reason mine keeps blowing out thouge. Check ur fuses under the hood. one of em is blown.
Found the problem to be that one of the fuel injector positive leads in the TBI was pinched by the metal cover under the air cleaner when it was tighten down. This caused a direct short to ground.
dash panel lights working? all fuses ok?, check on the fuses box under the hood it's a number 10 red, check if keeps blowing up
the fuse is F16 under bonnet fuse box, dont know why keeps blowing?
Test starter relay first, assuming already checked the charging system and starter. ASD (Auto Shutdown Relay) can also cause a no-crank problem. Both of those relays have a fuse. Both relays and associated fuses are located in power distribution center (fuse box) in engine compartment, next to the battery. The cover labels the location of all fuses and relays. Unless you have no power for lights and radio, fuses located under dash are probably not causing problem for starter. If you find a blown fuse, you must find the source and correct to avoid continually blowing fuses.
it could be a fuse or a wiring problem check the fuses under the dash and under the hood and if all are fine check your wiring check all the fuses under the dash and hood and if there all good it might be wiring problem or the bulb
Check the fuses under the hood, particularly the "pcm a" and "pcm b" fuses. If one of these is blown it will cause the condition described.
on my 2004 tracker this was caused by a bad relay on the right side inner fender under the hood
look under the dash where the fuses are. or it can be under the hood where the box of fuses are located. look under the dash where the fuses are. or it can be under the hood where the box of fuses are located.
If you've already checked all of the bulbs and the fuses (to include the maxi-fuses under the hood), it might be your multifunction switch. I had the same problem, and had to take my Jeep to a pro to diagnose it.
You've got a short somewhere. Check closely at all wires for cracks/breaks where they could be touching metal.
