Opinion 1: it can be done seing as how the mustang comes with the option of a v6 or v8.. but many upgrades would be necessary to do it correctly.. obviously a new transmission would be needed but an improved drivetrain would be necessary as well and suspension should be upgraded.. long story short.. its not a "bolt in" application Opinion 2: depending on the model year, the body style could be slighty different. For instance a 2005-2009 mustang V6 has a slightly different appearance than the V8-GT. The measurements are not a huge difference but they may be enough to prevent a swap.
The mufflers of a 2012 V8 Mustang cannot fit a V6 Mustang of the same year.
the transmission used in the v6 is the same as the transsmission in the V8 and they can be swapped either way. as in you can match the v8 with a v6 tranny or a v6 with a v8 tranny the bellhousing lines up the same
A Ford Mustang GT would be a V8
The V8 Mustang. It all makes since!
Not really, It was a V8. They came with a 289 which is a V8 but, it is the smallest V8 so basically you could call it a V6 but it's technically still a V8.
yes, unless there are upgrades such as a turbocharger or a new camshaft and others on the 3.8L. the V6 has about 60+ less hp than the V8
The 2007 Ford Mustang V6 0-60 in 6.4 seconds and the V8 in 5.3 seconds
4.0L v6 4.6L v8
210 for the V6, 315 for the V8
One has six cylinders and the other has eight cylinders.
no it will not contact Ford and see if you can by one
