yes they can go to 41 weeks and very rarely to 42 weeks but after 41 weeks there can be a danger to the baby as the placenta starts to stop working efficiently.
No. The pregnancy calendar is crazy!! A woman is actually two weeks pregnant when she actually has sex to conceive. So by the time she finds out she is pregnant (2 weeks later) she is actually four weeks pregnant technically. Most women will deliver around 40 weeks of pregnancy (which if you figure up is about 10 months!). Some women will deliver earlier while others will deliver later. If a woman goes too much past the due date, then the doctor will induce her.
Yes he can
it can be different in every woman normally about 2 weeks
Forty weeks.36 weeks is standard but not everyone carries until full term and some go past the 36 week mark. Most doctors count 40 weeks from the first day of your last period.
yes
There could have been a mix up at the lab. Get retested.
This is not unusual when a woman begins menapause, you can be at risk for anemia from blood loss with these heavy periods
Yes, but talk to your doctor or midwife if you're concerned
if you have taken a pregnancy test once a week for the past 7 weeks they have all came up negative can you still be pregnant and your hormones just havent picked it up on the test?
I really think that depends on the person and if you have had a pregnancy in the past. People who are more in tune with their bodies and have had previous pregnancies might know they are pregnant before it will show up on a test.
No. If you have your period, then you aren't pregnant. All of those are symptoms of a woman's period.
They say that you can have a very heavy period and that is a sign of early miscarriage. Most woman have a miscarriage early in the first 3 weeks and didnt even know they were pregnant. They just thank that they are having a very heavy period and then they experience spotting also. More then 50% of pregnancy dont make it past the first 4 weeks and most woman dont ever know that they were expecting. From everything that I have read its not common to bleed heavy if your pregnant. I would check with your doctor. If you feel that you may be pregnant he-she can do a blood test.
