no it cant it makes your hair nice and silky and straight and smooth
I have a full head of long extentions...my real hair is a pixie cut. So I ran into this problem when I first got them. Acetone nail polish remover is the only thing that worked! But a word to the wise...if the oil hasn't saturated your hair, then make a mixture of the remover with your shampoo(repeat if needed) then use a good conditioner to keep from drying out your hair.
nail polish remover or bleach but nail polish remover is best and doesn't damage the counter
I have read articles stating that GooGone will remove nail polish from carpeting - BUT, I don't know about hair....if you do try it, only use a small amount. But you may want to consult a hair salon/stylist, as they may have an easier method of removing the nail polish from your hair. Possibly nail polish remover? With or without Acetone? Though Acetone may damage hair/skin.... Goo Gone on the other hand, is a citrusy "oil" - so I'm thinking it would be safe on hair, but not too sure, as I'm no health professional ;)
try nail polish remover
No it will make your hair fall out
nail polish, nail polish remover, hairspray, hair product, Vaseline, any chemicals, 3M Dust Remover, etc...
Yes, it will destroy it.
Nail polish remover works on some carpets.
No! If you're wanting to do this for a fun hair color, it's a bad idea! The nail polish will dry and your hair will clump together and be sticky for a while. When it's dry, it'll be stiff, hard and clumpy. To get it out, you'll have to use nail polish remover which will not only take forever, but potentially damage your hair. The acetone could dry your hair and skin, and irritate your scalp. Not only that, but the fumes would be quite overwhelming! Try a temporary hair color spray or gel.
You could try using baby oil and see if the dried polish will slide out - like you would to remove gum. Using ice might work, too. Or a non-acetone nail polish remover if all else fails. Once the nail polish has dried it actually shouldn't be too difficult to remove - in fact, unless it is a big knotted up mess, you *might* be able to slide it from the hair without using oil or chemicals. Good luck. It actually happened today sparkle nail polish in 2/3 rds of her hair, the baby oil helped a lot, I just took small pieces and smeared the oil on and a lot would rub off, but I had to comb through it, it was not a fun process took me 2 hours and it was somewhat painful for my daughter I don't think she will ever do this one again, consequences for her actions! a painful lesson.
Cut it out or soak it in nail polish remover. This may cause damage to the hair, depending on how much treatment is needed. Generally, the hair should recover well.
