No. There are two tests that can be done for alcohol.

The first is the "sobriety test" that looks for alcohol itself. It has a VERY short detection period - just a few hours, depending on how much you drank and how well your liver works.

This isn't so good if you're testing people in a drug rehab to see if they're drinking so they have a newer test that looks for a metabolite called ethyl glucoronide, or ETG. This test goes back five days after the last time there was alcohol in your body.
