- My condolences on the death of your partner. You only think they were having an affair and not sure if they were. As hard as it is for you forgive and in the scheme of things it is truly not worth using up extra energy to stop the ex girlfriend from attending the funeral because you will be far too busy with guests that attend. If you are sure they had an affair then yes, you can ban the ex girlfriend from attending by letting two of your best friends stand by the church door and tell her it has been requested by you that she does not attend.
