The person is unlawfully present in the US and therefore is subject to deportation. He would however be given a chance to plead his case to Immigration officials assuming he has legitimate reasons for applying for asylee status.
Amortization
No. Renewal must be applied for before the expiration date. A form found on the website must be turned in before this time.
Right after the marriage , the thai immigrant should apply immediately for a green card , he/she has the right to do so, and then after obtaining green card she/he can stay in US whatever he want , even after getting a divorce. Your question is ambiguous, be more specifically . What's your status ? Have you applied for a green card yet? If you get divorce, before you got some legal documents you can be deported. Call a lawyer, he can help you.
6 months after marriage the illegal immigrant will receive a temporary green card. 2 years after marriage another interview is setup and they receive a permanent green card that lasts for 10 years. During this time the illegal resident may apply for US citizenship.
The rules change all the time and are not always applied equally to all illegal immigrants. The worst case is that the immigrant would be arrested, charged with a crime, and deported immediately. Best case, the immigration people would schedule a hearing and release the immigrant on his own recognizance with a promise to appear later. During the wait time, he could file appeals, request sanctuary, or simply complete necessary applications. Most cases are somewhere in between the extremes.

to my knowlege, if married while your spouse was alive, your spouse should have applied for your residency. if not, i believe that you are still eligible for your residency as long as you can provide a marriage certificate to ins. good luck
I married an illegal immigrant in July, 2003. As a result I cannot foster children or adopt them. I probably will not get custody of my neice that I have applied for. I cannot get health insurance because his income cannot be counted partially because he is not allowed to work, partially because he is paid cash. I worry every night when he is later than usual from work that the immigration has picked him up, I cannot get into student housing because he has no social security number, etc., etc., etc. If I were not so happy in my relationship, I would have ended this marriage to reclaim my rights as an American citizen. Basically, by entering this marriage, I have made myself an illegal immigrant with little to no rights.
yes there is... As there is on most all major business or government checks...but that is for safety and concerns the check itself not an expiration on what they are paying If you have an expired check that was never cashed it is a simple process to have the check replaced with a new one. (Basically return it and if their system shows what it was for was never paid or otherwise applied, they send you a replacement).
Unfortunately, he was deported back to his country of birth, Jamaica. He never applied for his citizenship papers.
