No
An undocumented immigrant
NoAlternate Answer:Yes, but it is better to use your Mexican Passport. If he doesn't have one, he should get one for this and other purposes. About a dozen US states accept the matricula consular as valid photo ID, including Washington, which also permits same-sex marriages. Even outside of these states, you could probably get the marriage license using the matricula consular alone, but it would be better if you could bring a birth certificate. If you are thinking that you need the matricula consular to prove residence or legal address ... don't worry about it. You don't need to prove where you live to get a marriage license. Foreigners are allowed to get married in the U.S. You don't need to try to appear like a citizen.
my understanding is some people do not consider it right to call someone an illegal alien/immigrant because it classifies them as a criminal, and they believe that saying undocumented immigrant is a better term because no one should be called a criminal because they entered the country without papers in order to make a better life for their family.
an immigrant is someone that comes from another country
The word immigrant is a noun. An immigrant is someone who goes to a new country to permanently live there.
There is no draft There is Selective Service (basically in case draft becomes active) We would not wan't illegal immigrants serving our country (it posses a certain security threat) An illegal immigrant, whom seeks legal assistance in the form of a Immigration Lawyer and obtains temporary legal visa, goes through required work to become a US citizen, would be able to register for selective service, this would only apply if they were young and attempting federal student loans or something.
That someone is an immigrant.
Yes. An immigrant is someone coming into a country and an emigrant is someone leaving. Of course when an emigrant is leaving their own country they will be an immigrant in the country they arrive in. So they can be the same when looked at different perspectives.
Tell her to Talk to someone she trusts or tell her to go to a consular to get help.
An immigrant is someone who arrives at a country that is not their birthplace =)
No, due to fraud.
I think that an immigrant has the right to get custody of his or her child just like an American citizen. As long as they are fit and respondsible parents.
