Mr Heater F274800 Portable "Big Buddy" Heater is a propane gas heater.
i believe you have to take out the entire dashboard and airbag and its a very long process bc my buddy works at a chevy dealership and they pay technicians 8 hours to replace one. That would be the heater core for that process, the blower motor would be located under the hood on the passengers side firewall, close to the passengers fender. 5 small screws, 1 electrical connection and you may need to move the ecm to give clearance needed to wiggle the blower motor out.
There are many objectives for various buddy heaters that are sold by many companies. The main objective of any buddy heater is to create portable heat for the customer.
One can purchase a Big Buddy heater online at websites such as Amazon or eBay. One can also purchase it in stores such as Home Depot, Canadian Tire and Walmart.

I am assuming you are referring to the control for the heater that dictates where the air flow will come out? Floor, defrost, vents, etc? If so, there is a vaccuum controlled flap inside the heating system that controls that. I have the same problem with my 2002 Wrangler. Apparently, it is one hell of a job since it is buried and you literally have to take the whole dash of the car appart to get to it. A buddy of mine is a mechanic and he told me it would probably take him a few hours just to get to the part, let alone fix the issue, so I said to heck with it.

it should be located to the right of the glove box in behind the lower panel . 88/94 models didn't change much.remove the 12 #2 Phillips screws holding the glove box assembly in, and you should be able to see it on your right side.2 of the 12 screws are secret screws.they are located on the top of the box itself...............................hope this helps...buddy mack.
