Pull from the front, the end closest to the fire wall. The whole cover will come off. Do not play with the sides or the top. Just grab the front and give a good downward pull. KD Don't do that, there's a clip in the front that you could potentially break. There's a slot in the cover near the front (firewall side). Stick a standard (flat) screw driver in 1/2" and pull back towards the driver seat. The cover should come off when you pull. One more reason to carry tools in your vehicle at all times. I was cursing at the engineer who designed this and I was 6' from my workbench and 30' from my computer.
To replace the cover, put the back (driver's seat side) on first, then snap the front down.
