set up an underwater circus. No, but seriously, Clownfish are not the kind of fish people usually go fishing for. If you want to catch one, go Scuba diving with a net and scoop up the first one you see.

In the wild they are found in the warm waters of the Indian and Pacific Oceans. The highest concentrations being in the Red Sea and The Great Barrier Reef off the coast of Queensland Australia.

They are a popular aquarium fish, and breed well in captivity, so your local fish supplier should have them.

If you're looking to add one to your tank at home it's a good idea to buy a Clownfish that was born in captivity, because most wild Clownfish die during transport.

Yes, if you fish in salt water. They are also found in pet stores. So they had to be caught once.
