You cannot. A female cockatiel needs a male cockatiel to mate with her before she will produce fertile eggs. And incidentally, birds do not "fall pregnant".
Yes, they can learn.
A baby cockatiel is named the same as almost all baby birds it is named a chick. hope this helped you!!!!
talk to your vet and see what he says.
I believe that both breeds are great pets! They can both learn to talk and with the right treatment they are both very friendly birds. It really depends what you are looking for, Both birds are fantastic pets so I would chose either!
A male finch can't really live with a female cockatiel as you should not mix straight-beaked and hooked-beak birds.
i personally have a cockatiel that can talk a little, parakeets can also talk a little..........these birds are great starter birds however it will take patience to train them to talk and such.cockatiels will perch on your hand easier if u r looking for a bird i suggest a cockatiel.u will have to put up with noise at night for a while so even though it is said that putting a blanket over the cage will stop that it will but the bird will be very frightend in general and of you
The unit is not supposed to affect birds, but watch for odd behavior when it is on.
The cockatiel can be a very talk'a'tive bird, but it may take you a lot of time to train them. But if you don't give up cockatiels can be taught to say almost anything.
