Chlorine is a poisonous, greenish-yellow gas described as having a choking odor. It is a very corrosive, hazardous chemical. Usually combined with other chemicals, it is used to disinfect water, purify metals, bleach wood pulp and make other chemicals. From this information you can pretty much infer that you should get that dog checked out. This is not good if he swallowed a large amount. Although, a small amount will not kill your dog, It is just like a human swallowing a little chlorine.
