Yes it was first prescribed for seizures, and later for Bipolar disorder. Answer I have epilepsy and take 2 500mg pills a day. Has helped me but can be used with other epilepsy medications to help improve the loss of seizures. I am also on Lamictal and Keppra.
I don't recommend it, I did so, and experienced self-induced seizures. You can take Depakote with Tramadol as long as you don't exceed more than 3 a day. I am on both meds and the pharamists told me that and I have lived by it, and I have not had seizures but then again I am taking Depakote for BiPolar Disorder not epilepsy.
The generic version of the drug, Depakote. It is often used for seizures, and mood disorders.
Depakote is normally taken for seizures. So if your depakote level is low that means you need more in your system to keep you from having a seizure. It is also used for bi-polar disorder.
yes, you can take these medications together with no adverse reactions. I have been on Depakote since i was 15(2001) for grand-mal seizures and have had to take Lortab for numberous things like toothaches, headaches and broken bones. I would still consult my doctor first, but you shouldn't have any problems.
not a good idea, can induce seizures.
Strokes in and of themselves can cause the person to have seizures. Depakote is an antiepileptic med, so it helps reduce or eliminate the possibilty of seizure in those affected by strokes.
Yes a dog can have seizures from allergies
what does the depakote do if i take one of these?
yes you can take depakote while driving. I take depakote for seizures, however if you are diagnosed with epilepsy it is a good idea to not drive for 60 days so the medicine has time do control your condition.
