Dwarf Hamsters and Mice are two different creatures. I do not think it would be a good idea to put the two together simply because they do not interact with each other in the wild. The may think this (unknown creature) is an enemy and try to attack. They might compete for food, shelter,... ext.
If they are the same sex, you can't. They'll fight after they are 8 weeks old.
But if it's a male and a female together. you can. ;D

Heres a little more detailed answer. If they are the same gender they might not get in fights. Especially if their females. If you put a male and female in the cage together they might end up fighting so you should be careful. If they do and you really want them to breed you can put them in a small shoe box and make them need each other. Make sure you watch them carefully so if you see any cuts or hear lots of squeaking you should separate them. If one of them does have a wound you can put antiproxide on it and some neosporin on it for the next 3 days. If the results are worse or aren't getting any better you should take it to the vet.
I recommend it having another hamster but one that is compatible and will not fight with the other hamster. It gives them a partner so when your not playing with them they're not alone. I hope your hamster has a great, adventurous life. :-)
Yes, but it's better off getting 2 if u ant baby dwarf hamster get a boy and a girl. If u don't want a baby dwarf hamster either get 2 boys or 2 girls or get it Spayed/Neutered and then u can have a boy and a girl dwarf without having them having baby dwarf hamsters. if your getting any have but dwarf don't put them in the same cage.
Answer
Hamsters are solitary animals; it is fine to have an only hamster.
Yes they can, hamsters when given a comfortable environment and provided with food and water they are perfectly capable of living alone and surviving by themselves. However, if another hamster is added to the lone hamsters space, it may react by either welcoming and liking the other hamster or with an outburst of anger/fear and reject the added hamster.
yes a hamster should have a friend.
Not really, hamsters prefer to have a friend.
Most of the time, i have 2 Chinese dwarf hamsters kept in the same cage and they are fine, Hope This Helps
not all hamsters have to be kept alone, in fact most hamsters like to be with others from the same type or family. dwarf hamsters, Chinese hamsters, robo dwarf hamsters, and lots more all like to be with family and others. If they are kept alone its either because of its personality, if they are put together with a type they don't connect with or because they see a threat . i hope this helps:)
Dwarf hamsters are social and they like to live with other dwarf hamsters, it depends if it wants to be alone or not because if it want to sleep then yes, you should leave it alone.
There are Syrian Hamsters (the most common type), Dwarf Russian Campbells Hamsters, Dwarf Russian Winter White Hamsters, Dwarf Roborovski Hamsters, and Dwarf Chinese Hamsters.
Only if it is a dwarf with a dwarf
No, dwarf hamsters squeak when they are happy.
By breeding them. Dwarf hamsters are a breed of hamster.
Yes.Russian dwarf hamsters Is Blind....
there is a big difference between them as syrian hamsters are bigger than dwarf hamsters. There is quite a lot of different types of dwarf hamsters such as, Russian winter whites, Chinese, campbells, rovoroski and maybe more. But most dwarf hamsters can live with 1 or more of the same sex and syrians have to live alone - so if your hamster lives alone then its probably a syrian. aslo syrians are about half the size of a guineapig and dwarf hamsters are about half the size of a syrian hamster.
You can buy dwarf hamsters at Pet Smart.
