No. It doesn't matter how old the child is. Parents are supposed to act like adults. Acting like an adult means that you need to keep your cool, even if your teenager is acting like an ungrateful brat. That's what teenagers do. Their brains are flooded with hormones and they aren't done growing physically or mentally. Hitting your child teaches your child that hitting is an acceptable way of dealing with your problems. It is not okay.
