Yeah. guinea pigs can eat lettuce (:
No, guinea pigs tend to stick to fruits and vegetables.
Actually, iceberg lettuce has no nutritional value, but it can make your guinea pig gassy and constipated. I recommend not feeding them iceberg lettuce, but rather replace it with romaine lettuce.
there are many foods guinea pigs will eat but i reccamend things like carrots, cucumbers, parsley, apples, lettuce and so on
CAUTION do not feed your guineas pigs red lettuce or cabbage green is the fav for g piggies
Guinea pigs can absolutely eat iceberg lettuce. If you happen to have extra iceberg on hand, go ahead and feed it to your guinea pig. If, however, you are looking for a tasty treat to buy for your guinea pig, romaine lettuce is packed full of vitamins (it has more vitamin C in it- which is a necessary dietary requirement for all guinea pigs).
celery, romaine lettuce, kale, carrots, cabbage leaves,
yes of course butdont give them too much of ice burg lettuce it makes them gassy and they could die xx
Yes! In fact guinea pigs eat hard foods like carrots and lettuce 2 hours after they are born! So it is fine.
They NEED guinea pig food daily, but they do enjoy fruit and veggies and need those leafy greens! You can give apples, tomatoes, AND iceburg lettuce to guinea pigs. Apples have Vit. C and they are a nice treat. But the veg/fruit that has the most Vit. C is red/green/yellow pepper and guinea pigs love it and gobble it up! Tomatoes are fine i feed my guinea pigs tomatoes, but it's up to you. Iceburg lettuce is like hay for a horse. It's filling his stomach. Iceburg lettuce you can infact feed to guinea pigs......It has little vitamins but they can have it. ^^
