I have never seen a hamster cure itself so I would say no. But it can be treated. I had a hamster who once had it and we took it to the vet. She was ok, but it is expensive. (I'm talking like $50 to $60!) So I'm agreeing with these other people. Get Dry Tail or whatever its called.
Never they die
You can purchase wet tail medication at almost any major pet store.
Wet tail in a hamster is not transferable to a person. When a hamster has wet tail, the main symptom is diarrhea.
a hamster will get wet tail from stress or because it is unhappy or because your hamster does not have enough space to play in :)
To cure hamster diarrhea, make sure to provide fresh water and a balanced diet of hamster pellets and vegetables. Remove any fresh foods that may contribute to diarrhea. If the diarrhea persists or worsens, consult a veterinarian for proper diagnosis and treatment.
You cant, your hamster needs to see a vet within 48hrs or it will die. The vets normally give you some form of medication that helps them live. However it sometimes doesnt work. My hamster had wet tail i took it to the vets and they gave it some medicine it was on the medicine but wet tail kept coming back. My hamster died after she had lived 2 years.
All hamsters can get wet tail. Try not to get the hamster wet and don't use cat litter in its toilet. My sister did this and the next day the hamster had wet tail.
if your hamster has diarrhea that means its getting the wet tail take to a doctor asap hope i helped
No, 'wet tail' is a bacterial infection that gives the hamster severe, and often fatal diarrhea.
No it will not. And you need to treat it immediately by a visit to the vet for proper antibiotics. Keep the hamster dry, warm, hydrated and unstressed but the vet visit is essential.
It is not recommended to bathe a hamster because they are capable of cleaning themselves. If you must clean a hamster, only dampen a cloth and spot clean areas while avoiding getting the hamster's tail wet, as this can cause discomfort and stress to the hamster.
Hampster wet tail is when ur hampster gets diarrhea and then dehydrated.
