For those of us who actively investigate homes and other areas for any type of haunting, only a small percentage actually have activity that cannot be explained, or has activity that recording and other devices can tell the investigator that a location is in fact haunted.
Most locations/activity can be dismissed as being caused by natural causes or machines, Plumbing, electrical fields, etc. Very few sites which have claims of paranormal activity actually are caused by paranormal activity. As investigators, we use both what we can record (evidence) and what we can experience in order to make a judgment either way. However, I guarantee you that if you ever see an entity, shadow person, or full apparition, there will be no doubt in your mind at all as to whether or not a place can be haunted.
