Yes. UHT milk has been heat treated in order to kill all pathogens (bad bacteria) and spoilage organisms.

Unless the product smells off / rotten, you can drink it out of the bottle.

Is it safe to drink double toned milk without boiling?

You can drink the packet or tetra pack milk without boiling because it is already pasturised and homogenised milk which means it has been exposed to high temperatures and most of the bacteria has been killed. But drinking fresh milk that has been extracted from the cow without boiling is not the right thing to do as there is a very high chance of harmful bacteria being present on the animals milking area and you never know whether the utensil that was used to collect the milk and the hands of the person milking the cow were clean. So boil fresh cows milk before consuming.

What happens to milk when it's boiled?

Boiling milk is completely safe. When you boil milk, it will actually reduce the congesting quality that milk has when cold (although it's still probably best not to drink milk at all when you have a cold or are heavily congested). It is true that if you add lemon (or lime) juice to milk when it is being boiled, it will curdle. In fact, this is how paneer, an Indian cheese, is made. However, milk will not curdle when you boil it without adding anything else. After boiled milk cools there will be a thin layer of film on top of the milk. This is not harmful to drink, but may be removed according to taste. One additional note: Keep an eye on your milk while boiling, and don't boil at too high a heat; milk can boil over easily and cause a big mess!

Why does a boiling milk overflow but a boiling water does not?

Boiling milk over flows because, they're chemicals in the milk to keep it safe that react badly when boiling, and tend to overflow from the container it is in.

Why you drink milk?

Milk has calcium and vitamin D. However, you don't have to drink milk. You can take supplements or eat other foods rich in calcium. 15 min of direct sunlight can provide enough vitamin D for a day for a person.
