Preferrably not - cats do not get stomach aches from excessive stomach acid like humans do. You could make your cat very ill if you gave it Tums.
May cat has never told me the cause of her stomach aches, no matter how many times I ask her. Cats do vomit bile, and antacids can be used for temporary relief. You don't give them peptobismol, but you can give them tums regular formula. Avoid antacids with magnesium, like tums smoothies. If it persists and can no longer be considered acute, have your cat checked by their vet.
If you're referring to the antacid TUMS, then most definitely not! You should NEVER give any medication that isn't specifically made for felines to your cat - ever. If your pet has ingested some whether it have been with or without your knowledge, consult with a veterinarian as soon as possible.
i don't think so but i don Original answerer is wrong. It is actually encouraged that you give your dog Tums during labor. DO NOT give her Tums until the first puppy is out, then repeat for every other puppy after that. Tums can strengthen the contractions making the birthing process easier.
The best thing to give a cat that has a fever is a trip to the vet. It may not actually have a fever -- cats are very warm to begin with. If you're sure your cat has a fever (temperature over 102.5 F) then take it to the vet -- it likely has an infection and needs antibiotics.
No don't try it.
yes, if she is not having strong contractions, you can give it to her according to her weight.
I knew people who named their cat Rum Tum. They should be drawn and quartered after the cat scratches their eyes out.
no. the tums will settle your stomach but the marijuana will make you want to eat. if you have the need to take tums then when you smoke be sure not to eat things that will give you heart burn or acid reflux
tums
Tums is an antacid, basic.
No, But you can take Tums and Ambien! ;)
No. Tums is safer. but if your dogs have stomach problems please ring them to the vet.
Tums react with acids from the stomach.
"tums" is pH 19 - it needs to be alkalinic. Also, mint is alkalinic and tums had a very definite taste of mint.
