Preferrably not - cats do not get stomach aches from excessive stomach acid like humans do. You could make your cat very ill if you gave it Tums.
May cat has never told me the cause of her stomach aches, no matter how many times I ask her. Cats do vomit bile, and antacids can be used for temporary relief. You don't give them peptobismol, but you can give them tums regular formula. Avoid antacids with magnesium, like tums smoothies. If it persists and can no longer be considered acute, have your cat checked by their vet.

∙ 9y agoIf you're referring to the antacid TUMS, then most definitely not! You should NEVER give any medication that isn't specifically made for felines to your cat - ever. If your pet has ingested some whether it have been with or without your knowledge, consult with a veterinarian as soon as possible.
