"Blowing" Fuses ABSOLUTELY NOT !!!!! Fuses and Circuit Breakers are safety devices designed and installed in electrical circuits TO PROTECT the conductors [wires] from short circuits and overload conditions which can cause extreme overheating which can result in damage to the conductors, and worse, the possibility of a FIRE which could destroy the vehicle. When a fuse, and its replacements, repeatedly blow, is an indication of an UNSAFE CONDITION in that circuit. To install a larger fuse would invite damage to the wiring and an electrical system fire. The proper "fix" is for a qualified technician, who knows what he/she's doing, to: * troubleshoot the circuit, * find and identify the defect, and * make proper repair [s], BEFORE replacing the fuse again [with the properly sized fuse for the circuit].

If your fuses continue to blow then you may have the wrong size in the fuse. You should double check to make sure you have the fuses in the right slot and that the voltage is correct.

Not a good thing to do! If you are blowing 10 amp fuses, you have a problem with that circuit. Putting a 30 amp fuse in its place can do more damage.

How do you change a blown fuse on a 2004 Toyota Sienna?

Open the fuse box by lifting off the cover. Locate the right fuse by reading the inside of the fuse box cover. Remove the fuse pulling tool located in a slot inside the fuse box. It is a plastic device that resembles a tiny clothes pin. Place the tool slot directly over the fuse to be changed and push it over the colored head of the fuse to be changed. Firmly grasp the tool and lift the fuse out of its slot. Replace with a good fuse of the same rating using the tool to push the fuse into its slot.
