Take them outside and do a "tomahawk chop" with the cap in your hand to flick out excess water, then hang them on a clothesline with a clothespin holding the back of the cap (or the adjustable strap if the cap has one). It takes a few hours outside to dry, a bit longer if you hang them in the shade to avoid fading. If your cap is wool, hand wash in sink with Woolite or other mild detergent. Do not wash in washing machine and DO NOT put in dryer. Pat the hat dry with paper towels then wear it until it's fully dry. They have a special gadget called a Cap washer. You put the hat in it and then put it in the dishwahser or wahser machine, it is pretty cheap to buy on line.
