You can put your hand in there. You can pet momma rabbit first to get her scent on you and then it wont be a problem at all.

it is natural for a rabbit mun to attack her yung. Maybe it's weaning time, Mom lost her milk, babies biting ? Check them out.
welll, you would kind of see that the baby rabbits are healthy and not going after the mothers food all the time, if the mother of the babies isn't feeding them, you should take her to the vet to check if there is anything wrong with the mother. If not, she must feel left out or something or not want her babies. Might be a idea to feed the babies your self for a week or so to see how they do with out each other. Who knows ?! Try it out !
usually it wouldn't but it would eat them probably because she thinks they are not her babies, and maybe under influence of her husband. DEFINITELY separate them, but see VET to double check, and hopefully see whats wrong. ALSO ask for advice on what to feed the babies if the family is separated. twilight maniac
i think about three but you best check with a vet or a profesional as i may be wrong
Even though you may not see your rabbit in with her young, she is usually taking good care of them. The mother feeds the babies several times each day, but often only spends a couple of minutes in with them each time, so you may never see her caring for them, but she is. You can check on the babies by carefully poking your finger into the middle of the nest. They should be warm and wiggly. If not, call the vet.
You can and SHOULD check your new born rabbits to make sure there are no dead babies and that the babies are dry and well covered with fur.
Leave them alone. The mother has got the care of her babies covered. :) You SHOULD check the babies once they are born to make sure there are no dead babies in the nest. Then once a day to make sure none have died and mom is feeding them (full round bellies and sleeping). Wash your hands with unscented soap before you check the babies so you do not leave any unwanted scents on the babies. After they open their eyes (10 days) you will be able to see them peaking out of the nest without disturbing them.
If you are talking about a rabbit, wait for a day or two. When you do clean the cage, leave the babies and all the hair alone. You can check the babies out in a week, to make sur how many and what sex they are.
It is difficult to determine if the rabbit is pregnant based on nest-building behavior alone. The rabbit may have removed the nest from the box to let it dry if it got wet from the rain. Keep an eye on the rabbit for other signs of pregnancy, such as nesting material being pulled from her fur or an increase in appetite.
Look most people say you can check up on the babies everyday your every second day just to see if they are dead your if they are getting enough milk little secret is that firstly before handling baby rabbits you wash your hands with water then pat the mother rabbit to get her scent on to your hands then there will be less Chance of the mother rabbit rejecting the babies you don't want to do this you should leave them for 3 weeks but that's if you want to. Hope this helps:)
You could check any time, but once the babies are feeding themselves on solid food it is advised to remove them as some mothers can turn on the babies and kick them to death for no apparent reason.
