No because the mother still might spell your sent so she might eat it or want nothing to do with it! (NO JOKE)
i probly would hold them at 2 weeks or when ther eyes open
When babies are born, you have to leave them in there cage for 2 to 3 weeks until lifted
I'm pretty sure you can. A lot of people say that the mom might eat the babies if she loses too much fat.
A hamster but if the hamster mother feels the babies are in danger she will eat them...
Well if you take away all of her babies then yes she will feel some lonesome and it may cause her to wine, scratch, runny nose. But if you leave at least one baby hamster with her she will not be upset and none of those symtyms above will happen. So i recomend you sell all of them(exept one.)and give the one you have not sold to the mother hamster and take care of her. p.s. you will not have to take care of the baby as much as you take care of the mother because the mother will take care of the baby but do feed her and love her as the mother hamster does. I HOPE I HELPED!!!(: MERRY CHRISTMAS!
If she does have babies, take the male out so she WON'T eat them. She may get stressed. Also, don't get the baby hamsters out of the cage. They will probably die, and if you put them back in the cage, the mother hamster may eat them. Just watch the baby hamsters and the mother hamster. Hope this helped. DON'T TAKE THE BABIES OUT OF THE CAGE!!!!! With out the mom the babies will die. And if you put the babies back before they die she will eat them. Besure to take the male out yhe cage. If she feels like here babies are indangered she will eat them.good luck.
Around 2 - 3 weeks, when they are becoming independent and their mother is no longer feeding them
Golden hamsters: 16 to 22 daysDwarf hamster: 19 to 22 days.

Mother hamster is not resenting her babies, but when mother Hamster are afraid , they hide there children in their mouth. if the mother stayed scared, it will eat its babies! so its better when your hamster gives birth , to Never make any noise close to the cage.
No, do not do that, it will kill the babies and distress the mother hamster. The babies will be born when they are ready. If you think there is something wrong with your hamster please take it to see an animal doctor (A Vet) to get it help.

You should never separate the babies from the mother, you can get your scent on them and she might eat them.

The mother hamster does not care as much because she is stressed and worries about her care more.
If you touch the babies and get your scent on it.
They might cause a fight, if same gender, If not the same gender, the they will (most likely) have babies, and when a female hamster has babies, you have to help the babies come out. And if you touch the hamster babies AT ALL, the mother will eat them. I don't recommend buying another hamster.
It is safest to handle a hamster mother when it's ok to hold her babies as well (3 and 1/2 weeks). But you can take her out for short periods about a week after she's given birth, to give her a break from motherhood, and the babies will be fine also. Good luck!
only if you touch the babies
After your hamster has babies the mother will care for them. The puppies will have no fur and are very small. If a baby strays from the nest the mother will carry it back in her mouth. The mother will feed the hamster from her milk until three weeks. At 5 weeks the puppies arte ready to leave the mother. If the hamster is a syrian this is the age when it must be separtated from its brothers and sisters.
