Yes, you can use anything with enough work and a welder. S-10s come in three wheel bases, 108.3 inches for a regular cab short box, 117.9 inches for a regular cab long box, and 122.9 inches for the extended cab long box. Front track width for an S-10 is 54.5 inches and rear is 54.7 inches. Blazers come in 100 inch wheel base or 108 inch wheel base. The Blazer frames are different, the rear section is narrower and the springs are mounted outboard instead of underneath the frame. If you need to adjust the wheel base there is a weld point on the frame where it is sleeved into the rear section. Most folks either grind the welds off or cut right behind it.
One of the biggest issues with using S-10 frames for cars is that nasty kick-up in the back section of the frame. The shorter the car the more of an issue it becomes with the rear seat. You could either fabricate a different frame rail behind the spring that puts the kick up closer to the axle or live with a messed up rear seat or no rear seat if you got a short car.
