Read the label. If it says it's Dex-Cool approved, it'll be good to go.
it should use Dexcool. it will be the orange stuff
I have a 2000 Pontiac Grand Am SE and it takes Dexcol, it's bright orange instead of green.
Because they use an orange colored coolant in it.
The 1994 Pontiac Grand Prix can use any SAE certified coolant. In normal climates, the coolant can be mixed half-and-half with water.
whaT KIND OF COOLANT DO I PUT IN MY 2001 PONTIAC SUNFIRE Generally, the GM model vehicles, or is this case, the sunfire, use a specific kind of coolant called DEX-cool extended life engine coolant. It is orange-ish in color and most of the time GM specific. i have a 01 sunfire, 2.2 liter myself, and on my car frame, i have a sticker that says "Use only DEX-cool engine coolant....". Hope this helps!
It uses the ORANGE coolant.
Thank you for the answer
DEX-cool is a coolant made specifically for Pontiac Grand Ams. It has certain amounts of lubricant and detergents made just for this engine.
You can use standard GREEN coolant in this system.DO NOT use orange or DEX COOL coolant. It will not mix with your current coolant.
Dexcool, Orange color.
there is no reset you have replace the low coolant sensor and flush cooling system and use dexcool coolant.
It could be anything, from a cloggedthermostat, faulty radiator cap, or even the coolant you use. Some require orange coolant not green. It could also be that the radiator is dirty inside, or the radiator is being blocked and air cannot hit it.
