If the guy is a true man, then yes, it can be difficult to break up with someone because of another because he should have some consideration for the girl he is dating at the present time. However, honesty is the best policy and it's better to be honest before you end up possibly cheating on your girlfriend simply out of fear of telling her the truth. The latter would hurt her worse.
