A regular lamp will not produce healthy plants.
"Grow lights" or fish tank lights work best as they provide the required light colors for plant growth and health.
No, because the lamp does not produce the type of light and heat energy like the sun produces and the plant can not perform its photosynthesis which is the process of which the plant grows, and it also depends on what type of plant you have.
actually I did this same qusetion for school and the one with barely any light grow fastest but the one under the lamp grow taller
The plant can not live in a Closet with no lamp. With no light, the plant can not make glucose (C6H12O6) The plant will evenually die. The plant in the closet will die whether or not there is a lamp, but the one with the lamp will live longer.
You can convert a clamp on desk lamp to a lamp with a regular base by purchasing a tabletop bracket for the lamp. This bracket can act as a base for the lamp.
Many of my customers use a 6500K or 5000K CFL lamp to replicate natural sunlight. They will grow strong plants if a oscillating fan keeps the plants moving as they grow toward the light. There have regular medium base for screw in fixtures. Order from Bright Commercial Lighting on their Facebook page, get the 105W Longstar or for real little plants 12W top spiral longstar will do.
no, not under a normal lamp. but under a special grow lamp it will make it a lot quicker.
I want to convert my touch lamp into a push button lamp who do I hook up the wires
No you would need a 400 watt hps lamp for flowering but you could probably use that cfl for the veg period
NO
no
Under two conditions it can. One the fixture that the lamp goes into has to be rated at 250 watts. This is highly unlikely in a home lighting fixture. The other is that the lamp has to be an incandescent lamp.
They are sold in stores.
