actually I did this same qusetion for school and the one with barely any light grow fastest but the one under the lamp grow taller
No
The plants grew under clear, and green wrap, but under the darker rose wrap, the plant died.
Blue and purple light.
Good
Sure. In fact, if you place a plant under an artificial light source, it will lean toward the light source as if it were the sun.
because blue light has a lot of energy so the plant grows faster
No
if it is under the light it will blossem into a califlower
Yes they do, certain colors provide certain vitamins/minerals and only sunlight has all the vitamins/minerals needed. Plants get vitamins and minerals from soil, not sunlight. Plants grow slowest under green light because chlorophyll reflects green light (which is why they look green). Plants grow faster under red or blue light. Sunlight is a mixture of red, green and blue light. Plants do get vitamin D from the sun, as do people. Plants do not generate vitamin D from sunlight. Vitamin D is generated in the skin of vertebrates and is necessary for maintaining the bones. The vitamins that plants cannot gather from the soil are generated using a number of different methods. Plants do not require vitamin D.

no.
It depends on the care and nutrients they are receiving, but if both are under similar conditions, aquaponics generally grow plants faster.
Plants, in fact, do grow faster under certain colors of light. The reason for this is that chloroplasts can only absorb certain wave lengths of light because of the pigments they contain. There are 2 photo systems in plants called photo system I and II. PS I absorbs light on the wavelength of 700nm while PS II absorbs 680nm because of their utilization of chlorophyll A and B Green plants will grow SLOWER or not at all under green light. Basically, green is the only brand of light that the plant's chloroplasts doesn't use. That is why it is the only colour reflected from the leaf, and is what we see.
yes

Blue and purple light.
