Best Answer

Yes.

It is possible to convert the kitchen waste into bio gas.

You need to have a anaerobic small digesters , where you put all these

biodegradable hotel waste, and that will get digested by bacterias and the methane(bio gas) will emerge out of that.

It s very simple system, affordable, and easy to instal.

the biogas taken out from the waste chamber can be used for cooking in the same

place for cooking also.

the disposal of waste is taken care, and the gas is used for cooking and there will be

slurry coming out of the chamber, after the gas is taken out, everyday, and that

is pure organic manure which can be used on plants.

There will not be any odour in the entire process and it is really a boon to the people who are using this system.

biogas from landfill waste has been harnessed in sites around in world

Where is biogas derived from?

Biogas is none other than methane which is obtained on anaerobic decomposition of organic waste.

What is the difference between biofuel and biogas?

Biomass is the combination of animal waste or dung, crop wastes or agricultural waste. While biofuel is the fuel or energy produced by using crop waste, the product is ethanol which is used as a fuel. Biogas is methane which is produced by fermentation of animal dung in the fermenter or biogas plant.

How animal waste produce biogas?

First, animal waste is collected in a pit then water is added in it . After this, pit is covered with mud or any other substances . This animal waste goes through bacterial decomposing in the presence of water. All this process produce biogas .

Environmental benefits from biogas?

When you run on biogas added no new carbon dioxide to the atmosphere. You can say that the vehicles run on solar energy, which is first bound in green plants, and finally converted into biogas. Biogas are therefore called "carbon neutral". Biogas does not contribute to global warming and climate change. This makes biogas to fuel alternatives today with the least impact on the environment. Biogas is a part of the natural cycle. Biogas is formed during decomposition of organic material in oxygen-free environment. The gas is formed spontaneously in nature in the sumpgas, or controlled in a Sewage digesters. When biogas production, we take to be the waste from the slaughter and food and manure from the farm, ie a kind of recovery. From biogas extraction we also biogödsel replacing chemical fertilizers in agriculture. Since biogas is a renewable energy has an important part of the sustainable society that we must strive to achieve. SRINIVAS KASULLA srinivaskasulla@gmail.com

What is a biogas?

It is a gas produced by the anaerobic digestion or fermentation of organic matter under anaerobic conditions. These materials include but are not limited to manure, sewage sludge, municipal solid waste, and biodegradable waste. Biogas consists primarily of methane and carbon dioxide.

Difference between biogas and natural gas?

Biogas and natural gas differ in availability, production and use. Biogas is the product of decomposition of shrubs and solid waste, available in limited qualities, and not generally used as a raw material. Natural gas is abundant, and used as an energy source.

How to convert waste pet bottles to energy?

One good example for this question is BIOGAS from Municipal Solid Waste (MSW)/ from biodegradable part of the waste. == : Biogas can easily be produced from current waste streams, such as: paper production, sugar production, sewage, animal waste and so forth. These various waste streams have to be slurried together and allowed to naturally ferment, producing methane gas. This can be done by converting current sewage plants into biogas plants. When a biogas plant has extracted all the methane it can, the remains are sometimes better suitable as fertilizer than the original biomass. Alternatively biogas can be produced via advanced waste processing systems such as mechanical biological treatment. These systems recover the recyclable elements of household waste and process the biodegradable fraction in anaerobic system. Natural Gas is a biogas which has been upgraded to a quality similar to natural gas. By upgrading the quality to that of natural gas, it becomes possible to distribute the gas to the mass market via gas grid.
