Watermelons are very high in sugar content, more than any other type of fruit. It is a good treat if you give it in small amounts, since a lot of sugar isn't too good for them. Of course, veggies are preferable as they are more nutrient dense than fruit. Watermelon could give them watery poops, so if they do that after giving it to them, it's nothing to be concerned about.
