Dual-layer DVDs are the optimal type of DVD to use on a multi-drive DVD. Dual-layer DVDs are preferred due to the amount of storage capacity they contain.
Ok you need a dual layer DVD burner and dual layer discs to write to 8.5 gig DVD's Nero burning ROM will do the job as long as you have the propper discs and burner. Use Nero express and write as data DVD.
A Double Layer or "Dual Layer" drive is able to write two layers of data onto a DVD, effectively doubling the storage space. Be sure to purchase DVD-R media that is approved for dual layer use.
Use a Dual Layer DVD that holds 7.2 GB a normal DVD only holds 4.2 GB
You can use either of the + or - formats and can use dual layer discs too... so the world is your oyster really.
yes but most games are bigger than the average DVD capacity you will need to use a dual layer DVD burner
You'd have to split it, like use WinRAR to turn it into 2 4GB RAR files. Or if you have a DL DVD burner, burn it to a dual layer DVD, 8.55GB.
either split into 2 DVDs or go and buy a dual layer DVD, assuming you have a DL burner. Use Nero to burn.
do you have try to use the Audio DVD Maker , Audio DVD Maker supports all popular DVD media and dual-layer DVD-9 burner, the copied disc is playable on both PC and home DVD player .and i think it can help you .
well if u are talking about games that came after 2003 - 2004 u will need a DVD if u are talking about games that are before that u can fit them on a CD the difference is a CD can only hold up to ~720 MB (megabites) while a DVD can hold up to ~4750 MB or the dual layer DVD's (u need a dual layer DVD burner for these) can hold up to 8500 MB
Not with a 4.7 GB disk, you'd have to invest in a 8.5GB dual layer disk. I'd look on eBay.
A single-sided, single layer DVD can hold 4.7GB of data, whereas a single-sided, dual-layer can hold 8.5GB. Double-sided, single-layer holds 9.4GB and double-sided, dual-layer holds 17.1GB. So anyone of these combinations can hold a 4.7 ISO image although the single-sided, single-layer may be a tight fit. I would use the single-sided, dual-layer and you won't have any problem. An ISO is simply an exact duplicate of someting (like a Linux operating system) so you will be ok. Hope this helps.
