This is a delicate issue. If there is bruising being left, definitely not.
If there is no bruising, yet you are a male, this will raise more flags then if you are a female.
Your age is of concern. Typically those households that believe in spanking stop well before 13. 5 to 7 is more realistic to stop that.
However, the law varies a lot. And you must also consider that if there is no bruising, the "cure" may be worse than the spanking. In other words, while you have the right to report this to your school authorities or the police, doing so may get you removed from your home.
That may be appropriate. If there is bruising, or if it's done in a "sexual" manner, that would definitely be a good thing.
But if not, then it might not be. If there is a trusted relative to talk to, like a grandparent, aunt or uncle, now would be a good time.
