It all depends on the country in which they live and the laws.
A relationship based on respect for each other would never force a spouse to do anything against their will.
I think it is.
outside of marriage, NO. a girl cannot marry a boy who is not Muslim. if he is converted it is allowed. a boy can only marry a girl who is a Jew or christian or Muslim. preferably Muslim of course.
No, is not compulsory that they convert before marrying a Muslim man.
No it is not as long as the American is a Muslim too. Marrying some other religion and then converting them is not recommended.
yes but if that man is Muslim
It depends.Per Islam teachings and rules:For a Muslim man, he can marry only a Muslim, Christian, or Jewish girlFor a Muslim girl, she can marry only a Muslim man. She can't marry a man outside her religion.
A Muslim guy can marry a christian woman & he can also marry a Jewish woman. About the Muslim woman she can't be married to a non-Muslim guy.
If you & your wife both are converted to islam than no need to marry again
Islam is passed through the male line, so in many cases Muslim women will ask Non-Muslim boyfriends to convert to Islam before marrying them. There is nothing wrong with a Muslim woman marrying a convert to Islam within Islamic Law or Custom. However, Muslim women will often object to marrying a man who will not convert to Islam since the children of the marriage will be Non-Muslims.
No. You are marrying the man or woman, not their kids.
Look, I'm Jewish so i could be wrong about this but I believe you can but it is frowned upon. They would won't someone who is of the same faith because they don't want to the woman to leave the faith of Islam.
Alhamdulillah, brother. Try go to your nearest mosque/islamic center and speak to a cleric/imam there. He'd be able to help you out.
