Without more information it's difficult to answer your question. It really depends on the output connector type on the video game and whether or not the TV has a matching type of connector, or whether or not there's an adapter available to make the video game usable.

Can I play a pal PlayStation game on you my NTSC PlayStation 2 console?

Probably not. I have been trying to figure out if there is a way to play NTSC J games on an NTSC US system (even though they're both NTSC format, it would still require getting around the country code check), and it seems like the answer is not without going to a lot of trouble--there's all sort of information out there about hacks, mod chips, and what not, but it seems like it's probably mostly misinformation, and sorting through it all seems to be more trouble than it's worth. I'm starting to think about just buying an import NTSC J system.

What do you need to do to be able to use your old television and aerial antenna after spring 2009?

If your old tv has no built in ATSC Digital Tuner , then you need a digital to analog converter box. This box receives the ATSC Digital Signal and converts it to NTSC Analog , for Tv's that only have a NTSC Analog tuner.

Are there any hdtvs that can switch between ntsc and pal internally?

With high-definition television, NTSC and PAL aren't really needed as specs anymore, since modern TV's connected with HDMI can display 24 to 30 frames per second at much higher resolutions. Analog broadcasts will soon be ending in most European and North American countries. What you want is a DVD player or VCR that can convert old NTSC or PAL format to allow you to watch them on one TV, hopefully by HDMI connection. Note that in addition to the NTSC/PAL difference, DVDs are authored with region codes that only allow DVD players sold in certain countries to play the discs.

How can you make US Wii games work on a PAL Wii?

It will work only if your TV is a multi system TV, meaning it works with NTSC & PAL video signal. If you have an old PAL TV, then you will have a problem watching.

What is the difference among cif hd1 and d1 resolution pal system?

D1 So-called "full resolution" for TV specs. Normally D1 can mean one of the following video resolutions: * 704x576 (TV PAL) * 704x480 (TV NTSC) * 720x576 (DVD-Video PAL) * 720x480 (DVD-Video NTSC) 4CIF (4 Common Intermediate Format) * 704x576 in PAL * 704x480 in NTSC 2CIF (2 Common Intermediate Format) * 704x288 in PAL * 704x240 in NTSC DCIF (Double Common Intermediate Format) Compared DCIF with CIF and 2CIF: under the same bit rate, the image quality and definition is greatly improved. * 528x384 in PAL * 528x320 in NTSC CIF (Common Intermediate Format) Back in history, this acronym's name comes from video conferencing tools in late 1980's and early 1990's. Nowadays the term CIF is used to mean specific video resolution: * 352x288 in PAL * 352x240 in NTSC CIF is 1/4th of "full resolution" TV, also called as D1 and is best-known because VideoCD standard uses this resolution. QCIF (Quarter Common Intermediate Format) Old video resolution name. 1/4 of CIF video resolution. Standard sizes : * 176x144 in PAL * 176x120 in NTSC

What is the difference between hdtv and hdtv monitor?

HDTV is a new format for displaying a TV picture. It has higher resolution and clarity than the old NTSC format. Most stations that are broadcasting digital signals are now using 4 channels for every 1 they had before. They are reserving some channels for HDTV format and some channels for NTSC format. An HDTV will display the HDTV format and probably the NTSC format as well. An HDTV monitor can display the same picture, but probably lacks a tuner to actually receive the television signals. You need to plug something into it like a computer, a DVD player, or a tuner. If that thing sends out an HDTV signal then you can see it on the monitor.
