The Soul as you call it is in fact the Spirit of man, and the Body and Spirit are called the Soul of man. The spirit cannot enter another body for it is in the exact likeness of the body that it already inhabits.
When God breathed into Adam the breath of life, it was the mans spirit that entered Adam. God's breathing life into Adam is only figerative.
When a person dies their spirit returns to that God who gave them life. In the resurrection the spirit and body will be reunited its perfect frame.
Everyone is born with half of a Soul. Adam & Eve shared One Soul when they were "Human". When they fell back to "Animals" they didn't know how to reconnect their Soul because that knowledge had been erased by God. This was a test to see if they could put their shame, guilt, pain etc to the side and reconnect. The Bible says that God blew life into Adam, then He took Adam's SIDE and made Eve. God did not blow a separate soul into Eve. She would COMPLETE Adam, not COMPETE as we do now. Jesus spoke of two half Souls/ 1 Body in the Nag Hammadi manuscripts (which were destroyed years ago by the Church). Jesus found his "Better Half", Mary Magdelene, and only then was he complete. Some call Jesus the "New Adam", a reincarnated Adam that connected with his Eve the second time around.

Friends agree best at a distance Friends are one soul in two bodies In MY opinion, you can have your own opinions, these statements are contradictory, yet similar. Firstly, friends agree best at a distance means that there is a distane in terms of relationship between 2 friends, therefore, out of politeness, there is agreement regardless, and the phrase friends are one soul in two bodies is like saying friends are SO close they think alike, do alike, feel alike. One soul in to bodies, ONE soul being of same type, of same feel and of same perspectives, bodies merely the shells. So there is contradiction here. The similarities to me is that sometimes, you DO disagree with yourself, so if friends are one soul in two bodies, you too sometimes disagree with your friends. These are my rough answers, but there are MANY possibities
Why body parts are important?
Well, without our bodies, we, as humans, would not exist. Because we wouldn't have bodies. If you want to exist, you have to take care of your body because you only have one. Some believe that we have souls that are reincarnated into different bodies, but that is another issue for other people to kill each other over.
