A better way to phrase the question is this: is it possible for a person to be and act in a totally rational, reasonable fashion in all areas of social behavior save one, and in this one to act in a completely opposite, irresponsible way; the answer of course is a resounding "Yes", and that's why we have psychiatrists and jails!
