According to our stupid government, no. BUT, if you have LimeWire Pro, it still works. If you've got an internet connection, you can still search and download. most things are being re-uploaded, although I have no idea who is doing it since the network is "shut down".
I know that when I used Limewire on my Dell computer and Windows ME that the program crashed my system several times. I'm not a big fan of Limewire. * Windows ME isn't very stable to begin with, the problem might not be with what programs are running on it. * If Limewire is causing problems with your system, by all means stop using it until you track down the problem. == == Heck NO! It's illegal!
LimeWire is completely legal. However, the purpose many people use it for is not. Downloading copyrighted music, videos, or programs without the permission of the author is illegal. This is called "copyright infringement" or "piracy."
Yes, either move the songs from your limewire folder into your My Music folder, or use the Zune program to add your limewire folder to its monitored folders list. I think?
Limewire is a perfectly legal program. The problems arise when and how you use it. Downloading copyright material is illegal no matter how you do it.
We still do. People still can use limewire if they desire to do so along with napster or morpheous. Most people probably use winmx or something similar because it's cheap and easy to use. Also, some computers block Limewire access due to a firewall and can be a hassle to keep turning your firewall on/off all the time. Limewire also gave some people virusus on there computer because people have noticed xylot.com
about 3.56% of the population uses limewire
People dont need to be using limewire because the share the music!
Many people use LimeWire. I would expect it to be over 1 billion people using LimeWire. (This is just an estimate...no real facts were put into this)
No. But We still seem to use "LimeWire" anyway..dont we?? lolz
people use it It did get shut down recently.

Because limewire is a peer to peer server, meaning that their is no central thing that operates it somewhere, to stop limewire the police would have to go to every computer in the world that has limewire on it and manually delete it off of every computer. As long as two people have limewire and are sharing files with each other it will keep going.
i think limewire has the most songs but other programs like i-mesh have less viruses. my virus scanner said that imesh was okay to use but I know people that have gotten viruses from limewire
Limewire doesn't need or use a password.
LImeWire is illegal to use in all states.
