i believe it is the Planaria Worm.
Annelid worms cannot be cut and half and live. Other types of worms can be respawned in their entirety if a sufficient portion of their original body was retained.
it would continue to live because worms have 4 hearts. :) But if you cut a worm in half and it doesent keep moving its because that's really just half of a worm that someone already cut in half
Worms are still alive when they are cut, so they can move. They regenerate their bodies.
yeah
If you cut a worm in half, the half with the head on it, the tail will grow back. It will NOT become two worms!!!
IF you cut a worm in half, the bottom half will die because it cannot grow a new head. However, the top half will live and heal.
They will not live. However, they will stay alive for a few hours just as a chicken will stay alive after chopping off it's head for a few minutes. actually they will live. they will grow tails again. I have played with worms since i was a child. They have more than 1 heart and more than 1 brain. a planaria worm will grow back in to two separate worms if you cut it in half, Yes this is the right answer but i think they have 4 hearts and live forever and they grow back
Usually a planaria regeneration experiment involves cutting the planaria into different parts. The head can be separated from the tail or the planaria can be cut lengthwise, etc. After cutting the planaria, it will be observed for few days noting how the organism regenerate its lost body parts. Read more on planaria regeneration on t he link provided below.
It duplicates through regeneration
Of course that's why if you cut one in half it will still live.
umm, probly not.. only worms
