Yes you can, however there is usually quite a bit of work involved. One would have to switch out the pedal assembly, the shift/center console, possibly change motor mounts, and depending on how new the car is computer (ECU) may need to be changed or altered as well. This is a very simplistic view of what is otherwise a rather lengthy and often costly swap. If the car is new and easily found in a used car lot it would be more prudent to purchase a car with the manual transmission already installed from the factory.
