Theoretically, yes. If the sun stopped shining or the wind stopped blowing, then that particular form of renewable energy could "run out". However, being that it is termed "renewable", the probability of that happening is virtually nonexistant.

Technically, they can't, unless you think about how we are using even all of our water. So we better hope that the world ends before we run out of these important things, or we will be wishing it did! Peace in the Middle East ( and west and south and north) that's all I got astalvista! I'm not Spanish so I don't know how to spell that sorry I'm not racist either.

A renewable resource's longevity depends on management. Think of it like bank account. If you make regular deposits (like your pay) you can draw on the account to pay bills and meet expenses. If you have a big expense once in a while you use whatever surplus you've built up. If, on the other hand, you spend more than you are putting in on a regular basis, you go into debt and have no money. Renewable resources can be exhausted and essentially run out.

First consider the money you inherit and hide under your mattress. You spend it and it is gone. It becomes depleted and you don't have it any more. This happens to a nonrenewable resource no matter how slowly you use it.This is the way we must deal with oil, metals and uranium for power - they will run out.
Consider the money in your checking account. Every pay you put money in so it grows back (renews itself) monthly. However if you spend all you make and thn some you eventually run out and the amount you are putting in doesn't even meet the needs of daily living and interest. Your Renewable resource has run out. It works the same way with fish, forests or fresh water. If you use it too quickly and irresponsibly it runs out and you don't ever catch up again.

The last category is like having a very wealthy uncle who has so much money. He lets you spend his money as you want with no limits. This is like gravity, sunlight and air. Eventually he may die or all the goodies you buy ,ay fall over and crush you or maybe e just gets tried of you and moves away. Never mistreat even an "inexhaustible source - it may bite you eventually.
